It’s tricky being Bosun

Kelly has a tough time in this episode. He knocks heads with the Captain and crosses paths with his deck team, when he was only trying to protect them. On top of all of this, he gets slightly rejected by me, sorry Kel! 🙁 Overall, I think that Kelley is fitting rather aptly into his Bosun position, regardless of how hard it is. Conflicts with the Captain are bound to happen, and stepping up to Bosun comes with a load of learning, trial and errors and mental strain. Kelley has extra responsibilities and the difficult task of learning how to manage the friend/boss relationship with his team, and HOD’s!

And then there was me :/. Okay, I am not used to the touchy feely flirting approach that Kelley pursued, and it did take me back a little! It’s definitely not very English, haha. I was now aware that Kelley was definitely flirting, (at least I noticed that)! Yet, I didn’t know Kelley very personally yet, so I found the intimacy a bit hard to deal with. I couldn’t decipher what I thought of everything. Kelley is a very attractive man and I’m getting so many comments about why I didn’t respond differently, but it takes a lot more than that for me to be influenced!

The dilemma is all to familiar on Superyachts. Are the guests in a safe enough state to use all the toys & play in the water; or not? In comparison to other experiences, these guests were tame, albeit potentially over the safe threshold to be playing in the water. It’s us in the firing line if anything happens.

White Party & Ben’s Food

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Ben’s cooking (again) & the effort that went into our White Party?! Kate organised some fantastic themed invites, I painted all these individual white objects the night before, and each guest had a bunny rabbit napkin fold. The party was laid on upstairs on the bridge deck, so we had to run every food option upstairs! A lot of background work goes into each meal when working on a yacht, but it’s one of my favourite parts of the job!

Do you and Kelley end up hooking up this season?

Well, that would be telling, wouldn’t it! He’ll have to change his tactic, which he may. We’ll have to watch and find out.

Did you get on well with Kate as your boss?

I did, yes! I learnt a lot off Kate.

Why didn’t you tell Kelley to get off you if you were uncomfortable?

I’m not very good at being blunt, obviously! Hahah. I was;t close enough to Kelley at this point to humorously let him know what he was doing wasn’t up my street. I thought that my behaviour would be enough, but I think that I was wrong.

I love your swimsuit on this episode, where is it from?

Thank you! It is one of my favourites. It was from a boutique in St. Maarten (Caribbean).
